Breaking Barriers with DME and Lyric Transcription
2024 saw the debut of AudioShake’s Dialogue, Music, and Effects (DME) separation technology, setting a new standard for precision and versatility. Whether localizing content for global markets or enhancing clarity in live sports broadcasts, DME brought transformative capabilities to diverse industries.
We also launched lyric transcription tools to streamline workflows for publishers and labels, automating time-stamped lyrics for karaoke, lyric videos, and fan engagement campaigns. Used by companies like Disney Music Group, Downtown Artist & Label Services, and Spirit Music Group, these tools didn’t just save time—they enriched metadata, unlocking new opportunities in sync licensing and searchability.
Building on these innovations, AudioShake’s research team achieved remarkable model accuracy and efficiency advancements. Our latest transcription models doubled in accuracy and delivered results five times faster than before. These improvements enhance AudioShake’s ability to serve diverse use cases, from global music localization to improved metadata extraction.
Industry Recognitions from Disney to AWS
Our advancements caught the industry’s attention, culminating in several major awards and recognitions:
- Disney Accelerator: AudioShake was selected for Disney Accelerator’s 2024 cohort, where we introduced our sound separation technology to segments like Disney Music Group, Walt Disney Studios, ESPN, ABC Owned Television Stations, and Star India.
- AWS Unicorn Tank: Beating out 4,000 entrants, AudioShake took top prize at AWS re:Invent, after winning over the judging panel of leading Silicon Valley VCs, and AWS and NVIDIA execs with the top prize at AWS re:Invent.
- LaLiga’s EA Sports Startup Competition: AudioShake won LaLiga's innovation program for our tech’s potential to enhance sports broadcasts with speech isolation, music removal, and background noise control to address copyright challenges and improve content flexibility.
- PILOT Innovation Challenge: The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) honored AudioShake as a winner of its 2024 PILOT Innovation Challenge for our ability to open up content workflows and power next-gen audio experiences in film, TV, music, and sports.
