Stems land on the moon
Working with AudioShake

When SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket touched down on the moon it brought with it the work of 222 artists, thanks to the Lunaprise Museum. The monumental return to the moon featured a time capsule of human creations including artists like Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley, and Elvis Presley ... and two versions of Brayden Pierce’s song, "Capture the Moon" - the Modernist Edition and the MOOON.PARTY Mix.

When presented with the opportunity to be a part of the historic landing, Brayden felt it only appropriate to include his 2011 fan favorite, “Capture the Moon” with  special remixes to commemorate the occasion. Unfortunately, just years before, he lost all of his project files in a tragic rainstorm. Without the stems available, Brayden turned to AudioShake to create stems from the master stereo track.

With his stems, Brayden was able to produce a new incarnation of “Capture the Moon” and became the first music artist with an electronic dance song to land on the moon.

“For a project like this, I really wanted to create a special mix that could be included in the lunar landing and commemorate the occasion. I wouldn’t have been able to create this new mix for the Lunaprise Museum without AudioShake’s stem separation.”
